Peanuts Father's Day Card

Gosh has it been that long since I last posted on here. Time flies and a lot has happened since my last card. As I'm sure you can guess from the card I'm just about to upload I'm expecting a baby, affectionately called Peanut who has decided to make her Daddy a Father's Day card even though she isn't due to arrive for another three months. Here is is :)

Mums birthday card

I haven't made a card for quite a while but it's coming up to the busiest time of year for family birthdays and of course Christmas is just around the corner. Anyway it's my mums birthday in just over a week so here's the card I've made for her. It took quite a while to decide what to do but I've used the sketch from Sketch Saturday as inspiration.

Chocolates

I know its not a card and really I will make some soon - with Christmas fast approaching I better! Anyway I've spent two days being taught how to make chocolates at work so I thought I would share some of the chocolates I made. The techniques I learnt included tempering the chocolate by hand (many times!), enrobing by hand, making aerated chocolate, moulding wafer in chocolate as well as making shell cases and then filling them with flavoured ganache. The results don't all look great but they do taste nice, not so keen on the smoked cheese flavour one of the other girls chose!

Wedding Card for My New Husband

This is the card I've made to give my new Husband on Our Wedding Day. My Fiance is Scottish and will be wearing a kilt so I have incorporated this into the card design. I have also altered the 'bride' to reflect the design of my dress.

My Wedding Invitations

Here is the design I have chosen for my Wedding Invitations. The card design includes my Fiances tartan while the central panel reflects the design on my Wedding dress.

As the predominate colour on the card is green I am entering the card in the Green for Go challenge over at Saturday Challenge.

Autumn Birthday card

I made this card for my Fiance for his birthday. The sketch is from Cute Card Thursday. I chose to use a leaf stamp and make an autumnal card as I don't really have any 'boy' images. I have used quite a lot of 'old' stock that I've had for years but never really used. The stamp is from a set I've not used before by See D's, the die-cut leaves and message are from Kanban and the paper is from an old My Minds Eye calendar I received from a magazine subscription.
