Quick Christmas cards

Here are a couple of quick Christmas cards I made for my Fiance to give out to people at his work. I had previously coloured the images so the cards took about 10 minutes to make.

This is the Christmas card I made for my Nan, her favourite colour is blue so I've chosen this as my entry into the Papertake Weekly challenge to not use red or green.

Pink Christmas Card

Pink is not a colour I normally use as I'm not a huge fan but many of my friends love it. I quite enjoyed making this card as its such a change from the usual colours I use.

Blue and Gold Christmas Card

Here's another christmas card, this time I've used a blue and gold(ish) colour theme. The image was coloured using my new Promarkers which I really enjoy using.

Stampin for the Weekend Card

This is the card I've designed using the colours lilac and silver with a tag from Stampin for the Weekend. The scarf and hat are coloured using lavendar, lilac and aubergine.

I used promarkers to colour this Forever Friends stamp which came free with Creativity magazine. I have used the holly embossing folder from cuttlebug as I like to include some embossing on my cards.
The bear was coloured using oatmeal, apricot and vanilla pens.

First 2009 Christmas Card

This is the first Christmas card Ive made this year. Little Snowy was coloured using the Contemporary Christmas pack of Promarkers. Its the first time Ive used Promarkers at home so I was a little worried I wouldnt do the pens or image justice.

Thursday 5 November 2009

This is the card Ive made for my fiancee. His favourite colours are purple and blue so Ive used these on the card and combined them with the most boy-friendly Penny Black Hedgie stamp I have. The image was coloured using whispers pens. The bottom right hand corner has three small tiles purple, blue and silver in colour.

New blog

After much persuasion and with having free time now Ive managed to start my own crafting blog. It may take some time to get to grips with the whole thing so dont expect too much to happen for a while.
